Melancholy pervades the spaces of Tlacotalpan for those who have left. The relentless march of time has left the town almost deserted. The remaining inhabitants accumulate memories of times gone by, yearn for the bustle in its streets, and miss the walks of those who once called it home. With my images, I fill the empty spaces and evoke those who have departed. Time and memory converge in a new frame, creating scenes that offer a different perspective to those who remain in the town, still waiting for the return of those who left in search of a better life.

La melancolía por aquellos que se fueron invade los espacios de Tlacotalpan. La huella imparable del tiempo ha dejado al pueblo casi vacío. Los habitantes que aún quedan acumulan recuerdos de los tiempos pasados, anhelan el bullicio en sus calles y extrañan los recorridos de los que algún día habitaron el pueblo. Con mis imágenes lleno los espacios vacíos y evoco a aquellos que han partido. Tiempo y memoria convergen en un nuevo cuadro, para crear escenas que le den otra mirada a los que permanecen aún en el pueblo, y que siguen a la espera del regreso de aquellos que se fueron en busca de una mejor vida.
