CHINULITO
The ruined houses in Chinulito, like cement skeletons, are the testimony of the violence that took place in this village. The paramilitary army chief "Cadena" declared the entire village collaborators of the guerrilla, and ordered his men to threaten, torture and murder the inhabitants, steal livestock, hens and crops, and destroy all the houses to prevent those that fled from returning.
After many years of living in Sincelejo in precarious conditions, some families decided to return to Chinulito to rebuild the town and their lives.
